Fête Nationale 2026

Celebrating Quebec's National Holiday at Centennial Park

On Wednesday, June 24, members of the Beaconsfield Rug Crafters Guild took part in the St. Jean Baptiste festivities at Centennial Hall in Beaconsfield, joining many other local associations and community groups for a wonderful day of celebration.

Emmy, Chris, Erin, Karen, Harold, Elizabeth, and Denise were on hand to showcase a selection of beautifully hooked rugs, demonstrate several rug hooking techniques, and represent our guild. Visitors were also invited to pick up a hook and hoop to try rug hooking for themselves—a hands-on experience enjoyed by many! Carolyn and Liz also stopped by for a visit.

It was a wonderful day filled with beautiful weather, great company, live music, and entertaining strolling performers. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to learn more about the art of rug hooking. We always enjoy sharing our passion with the community!
