To honour and thank Maria for her stellar contribution to our guild, the members reflected and came up with the idea of making a special rug together for Maria. Isabelle Rollin came up with the design of hollyhocks showing 18 flowerheads to represent Maria’s 18-year contribution. Members passed the rug around, each hooking their own unique expression into the rug. Jacques Lepage framed it. It was presented to her October 26, 2026, at our Halloween Hook-In.
