Xmas Party

Image
A Jolly Season _By: Emmy Maten

Deck the Walls with Hand-hooked Rugs,
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la…

The Season was Jolly at the Beaconsfield Hooking Crafters Guild Christmas party. Everyone contributed to making our party lively, joyous, and delicious.

The amazingly talented M created some rug-hooking lyrics to old favorite Christmas tunes, and we enjoyed an interactive singsong together while M played her keyboard.

We oohed and aahed at the beautiful Christmas themed rugs and crafts which several members brought in to show.

We had a heartfelt Secret Santa gift exchange and as always, our snack table was marvelous.
The best gift of all is being together and sharing each member’s creative spirit. Thank-you all and have a Happy and Healthy 2020!

International Hook-In Day

Image
December 4th_By Dawna Matthew

Wednesday, December 4th 2019, International Rug Hooking Day was a huge success! Beaconsfield co-hosted with Martintown’s Wild and Woolly Rug Hookers and welcomed 100 rug hookers from all over OHCG’s Area 1 to St Mary’s Community Centre in Williamstown, Ontario. We had 5 vendors, a huge variety of delicious soups and sweets to tempt our guests. Plus there were wonderful door prises to win. Thanks to everyone who worked to make this such a successful day and to everyone who
came with their smiles and hooking!!!
