Kay Lefevre’s presentation_
By Dawna Matthew
In August a group of our members travelled to New Brunswick for the opening of the “200 coussins hookés pour mon 200 ième / 200 hooked cushions for my 200th” exhibition. While there we were invited to participate is several rug hooking events. On August 16th Lucy Richard, owner and formulation of The Wooly Mason Jar Color Wheel Dye System, hosted a talk and presentation by the amazing Kay Lefevre, The Wool Genie. Kay had a RV full of rugs and she explained the processes she went through to create her beautiful pieces of art. This lady is so generous in sharing her techniques and tricks. Thank you again, Kay for a wonderful day!

At the same time we were able to enjoy some of the rugs that were part of Lucy’s Wooly Mason Jar Challenge, “Rugs Inspired by Songs”. Congratulations to those who participated! Some very creative thinking!!
