Rug Hooking Workshop with Loretta Moore On Saturday, May 13, we held a “Canola” Rug Hooking Workshop with Loretta Moore of Hooked on the Lake.  Canolas are Loretta’s Canadian rug hooking version of traditional Mola designs. Members designed their own patterns based on typical Canadian animals. Here you can see Claire Fradette’s Canola Moose. Fine Shading Class with Carol Shewan_ July 5&6 followed by July 19&20, 2017 McMartin House Pert, Ontario Four of our members: Claire Fradette, Candace Fradette, Ti Seymour and Dawna Matthew, took a Fine Shading Class with Carol Shewan. This class was part of the requirements for the OHCG Teacher Training Certification. Together with members from other Area 1 branches two 2 day sessions were spent with Carol,  mastering the technique. For some of us, this was the first time pulling a #3 cut strip! It was great fun to get together with fellow hookers from other guilds.
