Fête nationale du Québec in Centennial Park Centennial Park buzzed with excitement during the hottest day of the summer so far. The City’s event planners had the public’s comfort foremost in mind, providing a misting station, Freezies, and ice-cold wet towels to provide relief from the heat. The misting station – So refreshing! There were activities for all ages. Highlights included a petting zoo, a children’s hairdressing station run by theatre artists, a stage with live music, food trucks, and interactive displays at booths prepared by Beaconsfield’s Associations. Three children patiently await their hairdos at the Hair Dressing Station. At our booth, we displayed an assortment of hooked rugs, shared information about our craft, and engaged visitors to try their hand at rug hooking. Ready to greet the public.
