Link: Quillie Christmas Trees Show & Share Dear members, Let us welcome this year with renewed hope and high spirit! We will resume our usual schedule of four Show and Tells per year. Since the summer, our members have enjoyed in-person hook-ins and things were starting to feel somewhat normal again. However, the pandemic has shown that we are on a very rocky, unpredictable road, and in-person hook-ins may or may not continue. Special Show & Tell : Christmas!    The annual unveiling of our traditional holiday ornaments evokes Christmas cheer to our homes. This fabulous three-dimensional Victorian-style Santa brings back the magic of an old-fashioned Christmas. Christmas 2021

Image
December 13, 2021       Christmas Hook-In      We had a wonderful time at our Christmas hook-in Monday. Christmas music, a sparkling tree, and decorations created the festive spirit. Rather than a gift exchange we had a cookie exchange. Bakers brought in 20 samples of their favourite recipe, and everyone went home with a cookie tin filled with 20 different, delicious treats!!! Beautiful door prizes, enough to go around for everyone. From left to right: Harold, Claire, Candace, Juliet, Fay Passing out the cookies! Yum!! Cookie tins overflow with such a variety of goodies! Emmy loves her new apron! Isabelle brought in her beautiful hand-painted Christmas ornaments and fridge/scissor magnets.  We have so many talented members! Our new member couple, Karen and Harold!
