When: On Mondays for 5 consecutive weeks,  October 15 - November 12, 2012

Time: From 10AM to Noon. Noon to 1PM Lunch. Course continues from 1PM to 2PM.

Beginner should bring scissors and your lunch - Guild serves coffee and goodies.

Other materials you will need: A hoop, a hook, foundation (i.e. burlap, or other) and red dot (which is a transfer material).  (The hook, foundation, red dot and choice of patterns are available at the Guild as a kit for $12.00). The hoops are on order for approx. $35 each, the Guild will lend you one till they are delivered.

For the course, we will use new and recycled materials. Students will learn to transfer a pattern of their choice or design (pillow, rug, wall hanging etc.) onto the foundation. How to pull loops and how to use recycled and new material using #4, 5 and 6 cut.

If you have any old skirts, blue jeans, etc. Wash them in hot water and dry them in the dryer. You will take them apart and learn how to cut them in class.

Leftover balls of knitting wool are good too. Bring them if you have no further need of them.
